Legal Assistant/Paralegal
Before Julianna joined the Kenney Legal Defense team, she was a criminal defense paralegal for almost two years. She attended California State University, Long Beach and received her Bachelor's Degree where she majored in Political Science with a concentration in Law, Politics, and Policy. She also attained a minor in Communication Studies and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
After graduation, Julianna studied abroad in The Netherlands through California State University, Long Beach where she studied advanced argumentation and debate. While studying abroad, Julianna was fortunate enough to tour the International Criminal Court and the Peace Palace in The Hague, Netherlands. Julianna's passion for criminal defense derived from working as a volunteer at the Hoffman House. A Parolee Service Center contracted by the California Department of Corrections that provides a full spectrum of social services for formerly incarcerated women who are at risk of recidivating.
Julianna is able to assist Spanish speaking clients by helping them and their families understand legal proceedings from beginning to end.
